Hanna made the long journey from Texas to join us, and she’s been nothing short of a gift. This gorgeous girl is a classic black bi-color: rich jet-black and blanket with warm tan markings that pop against her crisp, easy-care coat. At just 60 lbs, she’s compact, athletic, and built exactly right—solid bone, beautiful proportions, and smooth, powerful movement.
Don’t let that striking look fool you—Hanna is the softest soul you’ll ever meet. She doesn’t have a single mean bone in her body. Gentle, sweet, and endlessly affectionate, she greets her favorite people with a happily wagging tail. She’s the definition of a “velcro” dog who just wants to be wherever you are, soaking up every bit of love you’ll give her.
That said, she takes her job as homestead announcer seriously! Hanna is always the first to hear the gate and lets out a confident, deep bark to let strangers know she’s on duty. One word from her family, though, and the barking stops—she’s protective without being aggressive, alert without being sharp. The perfect balance.
